When the first thing you want your customers to see is a sign saying HOT BEER, LOUSY FOOD, BAD SERVICE then you need to run a pretty slick operation ....and have fun doing the absolute opposite! This place unfortunately does not. The ribs with cornbread and beans were fantastic, worthy enough to try another visit. Everything else from the entree to the service was awful. We were offered a dessert after our very extensive wait for mains (over an hour because they "forgot to call our table away") and then found it on our bill at the end. Employing juniors is great for the community, but give them some better training and some consistent guidance on the floor. And figure out if you want to be brewery or a restaurant here. (Note: we didn't try the tap beers or ciders)
Visited this venue for lunch, firstly there home brewed beers and ciders are awesome! They have some really unique flavours going on and we really enjoyed trying a few different brews. After that it didn't get better, we were promptly seated then waited 30 mins to be asked for a drink by a waitress that (I assume was under age) only for her to have to go away and find someone else to take the order, the drinks came in a reasonable time however we then waited a further 15 minutes to be asked for a lunch order. We politely declined and decided we might have better luck else where, the menu looked good and had a nice variety to choose from however we didn't want to spend all day in one place so we moved on... The venue looked nice and neat and tidy and the staff were friendly and apologetic for the wait, I am sure it was just one of "those days" ... hopefully next time will be a better experience
Finally the wait is over. it's been a much long needed necessity for Busselton. Absolutely the best place for a steak and much, much more. The ambience was fantastic, great entertainment for the night. Staff are delightful and attentive. Thanks again.....we will be back
Very nice comfortable, cozy restaurant. Easy access for all and caters easily for larger crowds. Wonderful food and drinks available. Great little stop.
Really nice place, staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive and the food was delicious. The slow cooked pork ribs, Louisiana baked beans and cornbread are to die for, and the servings are generous. I couldn't fit in dessert. Definately coming back to try some of the other yummy things on the menu as those char grilled steaks looked pretty damn good!!
