Called up on Sunday morning asking after some Brandon Sanderson books, which the assistant let me know were in stock (thankfully!) The same girl was there when I went in later, and remembered me from the phone call and was very helpful. When I went back today (morning of the 2nd) she was there again and very cheerful and helpful! Annoyed with myself I didn't get her name so I could complete my review properly! Smaller Dymocks as you would expect, but wonderful staff that actually read and provide terrific advice. Worth a visit.
My recent visit to this shop was a bit underwhelming. The staff were happy to greet me from behind the desk but then watched me try to navigate my double pram around the shop with difficulty. No offers of help or to find something for me. I left without purchasing the book I wanted. It was just too hard to move around the shop.
I visited the bookshop this week. I found that the staff at the front of the store were quite friendly. However, the store wasn't easy to get around with a pram and the kids section was impossible to get around with my pram - would hate to be in a wheelchair. It would be even worse.
Visited the store today. We bought a variety of books. They have a great selection for all ages. We needed to order a couple of extraordinary books. Aksal was so helpful. Thank you very much. It was lovely to receive such good customer service.
